This is a Now page — a record of what I'm focused on right now. It updates from time to time; if you want the real, current state of momomori, look here, not at the marketing.
🔨 Building now
- NumWar v0.1: the digital prototype already runs the core loop and enters the battlefield. Next up is a full self-test of one round, then preparing for testing with real children.
- Tuning the two skins (war style / gentle "Tower Kingdom").
🧪 Experiments running
- EXP-001: does NumWar's core loop hold — waiting on the first batch of test data from kids.
- EXP-002: independent bath training — testing whether self-directed learning transfers from a game into real life.
📦 Products in polish
- A Child's Number Observation Diary v2: pivoting fully from "knowledge handbook" toward "a diary of experiments for growing self-directed learning through play." Tone work is wrapping up.
📖 Reading / thinking about
- A question I keep turning over: what exactly is the "early signal" of self-directed learning? Right now I'm betting on those three words — "one more round."
- Studying the "concrete → abstract" transfer path in child cognition, to lay groundwork for the sense-of-time and sense-of-money branches.
🎯 Current stage
momomori is in Stage 1 · Validation. Not commercialization, not scaling. The only goal: prove NumWar can get children to play on their own (R ≥ 50%, ≥ 5 children).
Driven by evidence, not by the calendar.
